Prise de Courant Odace Schneider Electric
Cette prise de courant Odace, de la marque Schneider Electric, est un mécanisme utilisé pour brancher sous secteur un appareil électrique. Elle permet d’alimenter les appareils comme l’ordinateur, la télévision, la cuisinière, la machine à laver, l’aspirateur, etc. Ce mécanisme est doté d’un puits bipolaire capable d’acheminer un courant nominal de 16 A, avec une tension assignée de 250 V. Cette prise de courant est à raccorder directement sur le circuit d’alimentation à l’aide de ses bornes à vis d’une section de 4 mm2. Son montage se fait dans un boîtier d’encastrement monoposte, avec une fixation à vis.

Parfait en rénovation
Dans les appartements anciens il n'est pas toujours possible d'ajouter une terre à toutes les prises., même si c'est la norme. Dans ce cas cet article évite d'utiliser une prise 2P+T avec la terre non connectée ce qui est interdit.
